Come join us for breakfast with the CEO of Cork and Rye Gastropub in Warwick as she shares her experiences, challenges, and successes.

Ashlen Gianforcaro took her passion for creating the ultimate customer experience, coupled it with a zest for learning and continuing her education to a whole new level when she opened Cork and Rye Gastropub in Warwick. Cork and Rye is a culmination of food, beverage and hospitality developed through time, travel and experiences: a scratch kitchen with enlightened hospitality.

Ashlen began her career in Food and Beverage Hospitality, while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Business and Psychology. With more than 15 years in the industry, Ashlen’s hospitality experience ranges from small privately owned restaurants and country clubs to large corporations. She has managed small intimate meetings and events, to large scale weddings and corporate functions.

Ashlen’s commitment and desire to provide the ultimate customer experience is evident through her training and commitment to continuous learning. In pursuit of her career goals, she has completed her MBA in Hospitality from Johnson & Wales University, with a focus in leadership and organizational management. She continued on to work for Forbes 5-star hotel properties and a Michelin restaurant in California until she moved home in 2018 and launched her first concept on her own, Cork and Rye Gastropub.

Outside of work, Ashlen’s interests include studying wine, traveling, any outdoor adventure, and a good book.
