What is it? – RI Businesses are now required to file a Beneficial Ownership Information Report with the federal Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

Who has to file? –
LLC’s Corporations, Partnerships, and Non-Profits.

How much does it cost? – There is NO FEE to file, but the filing is mandatory.

What if I don’t file? – Civil penalties of $500/day and criminal fines of up to $10,000 and up to two years imprisonment
