These 2017 statistics were derived from a mutual review of overdose calls with the WPD, WFD and the statistics provided by the RIDOH:
• 20 overdose deaths. 11 DOA’s and 9 in hospitals
• 146 overdoses reported to DOH from hospitals
• 201 responses by WFD for overdoses
• 208 doses of Narcan administered: 182 by WFD; 26 by WPD
• 76% of the overdoses are males ages 18-44

2018… As of April 9, 2018 only 99 days into the year, Warwick has already had at least 25 OD’s and 3 Overdose deaths.  Warwick is not alone.
