Get Started is back in Rhode Island! #GetStartedRI
Get Started RI, Cox Business’s fast-paced & fun business pitch competition, is back for 2015. Similar to ABC’s Shark Tank, Get Started RI will feature local businesses and entrepreneurs presenting their ideas and innovations to a panel of experts. The winning business will receive $10,000 in prizes!
The event starts at 5:00 p.m. September 24 at the Harbor Lights Country Club in Warwick. This FREE event is perfect for networking and learning opportunities from accomplished leaders in digital marketing, funding and business growth strategy.
- This event is FREE to attend and open to the public but you must register to attend.
- Complimentary cocktails & networking reception – before and after the competition!
Local businesses pitching their ideas are CBC, Deelish Skin, Movin, Ocean State Smoked Fish Company, Primal DM and XactSense.
The judging panelists include Kim Anderson, president of Ava Anderson Non Toxic; Steve DeOssie, retired NFL player and co-owner of Fred & Steve’s Steakhouse; Ken Kraft, vice president of marketing for Cox Business; James Ledbetter, editor at Inc. Magazine; and Ted Nesi, WPRI news.
