CopyofHouse.jpgClouds Hill is a historic house museum at 4157 Post Road in Warwick, Rhode Island. It is located on the estate formerly known as Cedar Hill, a country estate built 1871-77 as a wedding present for Elizabeth Ives Slater Reed by her father, William S. Slater.
Opened in 1877 on 27 acres. Architect: William R. Walker

Clouds Hill Victorian House Museum, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, has been referred to as one of Rhode Island’s hidden treasures.

A private home that has remained in the same family since it was built; is open to the public.

Clouds Hill has no paid employees but is staffed by generous volunteers. If one of our pre-scheduled exhibits does not fit your schedule, please call us and we will make very effort to make your visit possible.

We are handicap accessible to the first floor and, with advance notice, a video of the second floor is available for those who are not able to climb the stairs.

Geo-caching, team building, a new 436’ zip line as well as guided and self-guided tours are just a few of the new ways you can experience the Fort.  The Fort Adams Trust is rapidly turning Historic Fort Adams into Newport Rhode Island’s Adventure Learning Destination.
