YMCA Camp Westwood is a Y without walls, consisting of 80-acres of preserved woodlands and the pristine Quidnick Reservoir. This gem features roughly 300 acres of fresh water surface area, making it Rhode Island’s premiere outdoor recreational resource center. This outdoor haven provides campers and guests with a place to go swimming, boating, camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking and sailing.

YMCA Camp Westwood operates a premier day camp known for a variety of activities that give children the chance to learn new skills, make friends and increase their self-esteem and confidence. Additionally, many families, businesses and organizations utilize Westwood for reunions, company picnics, birthdays, graduation parties, wedding, and more.

Fairwinds Marina in Warwick, Rhode Island, was purchased in October of 2017 by Eric Presbrey and Joe McGrady. The two life long friends are also the owners of the Dutch Harbor Boatyard in Jamestown, RI. They have extensive experience in the Rhode Island boating industry and are poised to make Fairwinds a very special, private, family-friendly marina. They empower their employees to succeed and believe in taking the utmost care of their customers. They have assembled an amazing team that is the driving force behind their success. Rhode Island Yacht Club

Rhode Island Yacht Club is the oldest yacht club on Narragansett Bay with a long history of yachting since the Club’s founding in 1875. We occupy a contemporary facility with breakwater-protected docks and a mooring field on Stillhouse Cove in Cranston, RI, conveniently close to downtown Providence.

The marina has a hoist, break water protected slips with electricity and water, moorings, dinghy dock, launch shuttle, pump-out station, and showers and changing facilities among other amenities. There are picnic tables and gas grills for on-shore meals overlooking the bay.

 

The Club operates year-round, with Club racing, Club cruises, fishing tournaments, inter-club events and many other social activities too numerous to mention. The newly renovated Clubhouse features panoramic views of Narragansett Bay and offers both formal and informal dining.

 

The facility is available for rental upon request. Take a tour of our Commodore Room.
