Located in the heart of Providence, The Dunkin’ Donuts Center (DDC) is New England’s premier multi-use entertainment arena. Home to the AHL Providence Bruins and the Big East Providence College Men’s Basketball team, the DDC hosts a wide variety of sporting events, concerts, family shows, trade shows and more. The arena floor can be set up to accommodate center stage shows, table seating, ice, dirt, basketball, and event trade show booths.

The Dunkin’ Donuts Center was built in 1971 and was then known as the Providence Civic Center. Entertainers such as, Elvis Presley, Elton John, Cher and Aerosmith have performed to sell-out crowds at the arena. In September of 2008, following a multi-million dollar renovation, the Dunkin’ Donuts Center re-opened boosting new seats, a state of the art video scoreboard, facility and concession upgrades, luxury suites, a redesigned concourse and expanded lobby, and a sky-bridge to the Rhode Island Convention Center.

The 14,000-seat DDC offers 31,000 square feet of arena space with a ceiling height of 86 feet, a 25,000-square-foot concourse, a 9,000-square-foot lobby, 20 luxury suites, and five additional meeting/hospitality rooms. There are 5,500 hotel rooms in the Greater Providence area—1,800 located within walking distance of the Center.

The DDC is part of the Rhode Island Convention & Entertainment Complex, which also includes the Rhode Island Convention Center (RICC) and Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The VETS).

We focus on physical competence, situational preparedness, and play!  We practice the MovNat system in our “Jungle” utilizing unique but realistic equipment/obstacles to develop practical skills.  We also follow the Training for Warriors system in our “Studio” to improve strength and conditioning.  This approach builds a functional and adaptive body while improving fitness at the same time.

We train one-to-one or in small groups in a relaxed and supportive environment.  When we aren’t indoors, we’re at the infamous Neuty Hill, the beach, the sand dunes, and Goddard Park.  We also host the World’s only Obstaplunge, Ninja Competitions, and soon our own OCR!

Our clients range from young ninjas, to athletes looking to improve their performance, to average Joe’s looking to team up for an adventure, to the senior class looking to thrive in their golden years!  No matter who you are, we work together to make movement fun and equip you with a useful body “outside of the gym.”

Dating back more than 130 years in Newport, the polo matches are one of Newport’s grandest & most popular traditions, a living legacy from the Gilded Age, and open to the public. Audiences of several thousand spectators enjoy the contests against international teams, as well as teams representing major US cities, playing against the home team.

Minutes from downtown Newport, the International Polo Grounds are located at historic Glen Farm, 250 Linden Lane in Portsmouth, RI. This bucolic setting is the last 100 acres of what was once a 700-acre manorial farm whose settlement dates back to the 1600’s. Its classical stone barns from the Gilded Age and its park-like grounds were rehabilitated by Newport Polo founder, Dan Keating, and thrive today as an equestrian & community recreational property, and home of the Polo Series.

The Newport International Polo Series features teams from around the world & from major US cities playing against USA / Newport.
