Overlooking beautiful Narragansett Bay, Quidnessett Country Club is the flagship property of the many-faceted Jan Companies. Nicholas Janikies, president of the Jan Companies, a well-known and respected Rhode Island businessman, conceived the idea of a distinctive country club for Rhode Island, and developed the exquisitely beautiful golf course and country club.

Quidnessett Country Club is located just 20 minutes from downtown Providence on the East Greenwich/North Kingstown border. At the club, the banquet rooms are magnificent, the food superb, the service and attention to detail uncompromising, and the atmosphere warm and charming.

prestigious RI State 2013 Amateur Golf Championship. We have also hosted the RI Open
Championship in 2004 and 2010.

Quidnessett’s 18 Hole, par 71, 6,500 yard championship course was designed by the
renowned golf course architect, Geoffrey Cornish.

John has been named “NEPGA Professional of the Year” in Rhode
Island and Massachusetts. Quidnessett’s Pro Shop, operated by John, has received the
distinction of “NEPGA Merchandiser of the Year.”
