On Broad Street, in Cranston’s historic Pawtuxet Village stands a restaurant and bar serving quality American fare and cocktails that will provide you the strength for any revolution. But, the odds are (whether you’re stopping by for our legendary Berube burger, after-work cocktails or a celebratory dinner), the welcoming staff and creative plates designed by Chef Brian Lewis are sure to make you want to settle in and leave the fight for another day.

Owner Dean Scanlon enlisted the help of Providence Painted Signs to create the look and vibe of Revolution American Bistro. The interior pays homage to Pawtuxet Village’s rich historic roots, particularly the burning of HMS Gaspee, an English customs schooner, on June 9, 1772 in Gaspee Point. As it occurred more than a year before the Boston Tea Party, many Rhode Islanders take pride that the event was truly the start of the Revolutionary War.

Come experience for yourself what locals have been enjoying for years.
