Eat – Drink – Enjoy

More gastropub than classic tavern, Iron Works serves innovative and updated takes on American classics, all from a building deeply steeped in the historical fabric of Warwick.

Once home to the Rhode Island Malleable Iron Works Factory, the space is now a gathering spot for locals and also those venturing into town with its proximity to T.F. Green Airport.

Iron Works also boasts an extensive beer and cocktail program, highlighting many of the local breweries that make the New England beer scene so dynamic. In addition, the second floor of the restaurant has dedicated private event facilities that can be tailored to your celebratory needs.

Joseph Caldarone
Executive Chef Joe Caldarone, a native of Cranston, has been cooking in local kitchens and restaurants since he was a teenager.

As he worked his way up, Chef Joe honed and developed his own unique creative style that combined his love for local ingredients along with his appreciation of fine dining and classic American fare. After helming the kitchens in such locally recognized restaurants as Besos Kitchen and Cocktails and The Grille on Main, Chef Joe brings his experience to Iron Works where he creates a varied and distinctive menu that stays true to that of the classic American gastropub while adding in his own personal creative flair.

New Harvest Coffee & Spirits

Details

Venue Phone: 401-272-4604

Venue Website:

New Harvest was founded in 2000 by Rik Kleinfeldt and Paula Anderson with the intent of making great coffee accessible to real people. Originally located in a drafty shed on the site of the old Washburn Wire factory in Rumford, Rhode Island, New Harvest now calls Pawtucket’s revitalized Hope Artiste Village home. We honor the hard work of the many people who tended and processed our beans through careful roasting and faithfully cupping our coffee with our team.

We started building our Source Direct program in 2007 and travel yearly to coffee farms in South and Central America. We carefully source our coffees from partners we trust and directly from farmers. Our Source Direct program allows us to personally work with producers to ensure the best outcome for the producer, the roaster, the brewer, and all of our communities. We always pay at least 20% above the Fair Trade minimum for our direct trade coffee and often more than double for direct trade specialty microlots.

Our roastery is open to the public and our coffee is for sale by the bag and cup, Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM. New Harvest blends are also available at throughout the region at Whole Foods Markets, our wonderful wholesale partners, and our two cafés. In addition, we offer classes and tastings for the home brewer as well as the pro barista. For brewing guidance at home, visit our Make Coffee page.

New Harvest is committed to its communities. Through our Source Direct program, we are able to give back to the coffee community at origin. As a family-owned business, we are also focused on our local community. We donate to and host fundraisers throughout the year for non-profits with a particular focus on teens, literacy, women’s health, and the arts. We also donate a portion of our SoJo MoJoe blend sales to Sojourner House RI, a leader in the fight against domestic violence.

R|evolution American Bistro & Bar

On Broad Street, in Cranston’s historic Pawtuxet Village stands a restaurant and bar serving quality American fare and cocktails that will provide you the strength for any revolution. But, the odds are (whether you’re stopping by for our legendary Berube burger, after-work cocktails or a celebratory dinner), the welcoming staff and creative plates designed by Chef Brian Lewis are sure to make you want to settle in and leave the fight for another day.

Owner Dean Scanlon enlisted the help of Providence Painted Signs to create the look and vibe of Revolution American Bistro. The interior pays homage to Pawtuxet Village’s rich historic roots, particularly the burning of HMS Gaspee, an English customs schooner, on June 9, 1772 in Gaspee Point. As it occurred more than a year before the Boston Tea Party, many Rhode Islanders take pride that the event was truly the start of the Revolutionary War.

Come experience for yourself what locals have been enjoying for years.

RESTAURANTS AREN’T MEANT TO BE AVERAGE

Stephen Silverstein opened the first Not Your Average Joe’s in pursuit of the uncommon. In 1994, he worked to give his hometown of Dartmouth, Massachusetts a unique neighborhood place with great food and better company.

24 – RESTAURANTS | 23 – YEARS | 46 – EMPLOYEES NAMED JOE

Today, we have 24 restaurants spread throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland. We’re building incredible spaces with every nail, and striving to be better with every opening. In doing this, we’ve created a culture where our people are our foundation – making the sky the limit where we go next.

As you can see, our people are as unique as our approach to food. This isn’t a coincidence, it’s a way of life.
